My photo selected for juried Artspan exhibition

My photograph “Morning Dream, Donner Lake, CA, 2021” was selected for inclusion in ArtSpan’s 2023 Juried Benefit Art Auction presented in collaboration with 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco.
 
ArtSpan is an organization I support every year. They are a nonprofit with a mission to serve local independent artists living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. They sponsor events including this auction and San Francisco Open Studios.
 
I took this image in the middle of the pandemic, in January 2021. We couldn’t really travel, so I mostly took photos near our house on Donner Lake. My son was away in Colorado, my daughter was suffering through Zoom school, COVID was peaking again. It was a pretty bleak time, and this photo reflects my mood; mostly dark but searching for some beauty.
