"Slot Gold" selected for juried exhibition.

My image "Slot Gold" was selected for the Arts Guild of Sonoma's national juried exhibition, "Alchemy." The show takes place October 3 - November 3 at the gallery in Sonoma.
This image is a departure from my usual style. When I toured the slot canyons of Arizona in March, I was struck by two things: the patterns of light and shadow in the dark canyons, which lend themselves to black and white, and the shining bright gold color of the Arizona sandstone. I used Photoshop to try to combine both in this image.
